The images were assembled using a colour sequence as a random selector. The sequence - red, blue, green, cyan, magenta, yellow and white - relates to the spectrum of projected light which is the substance of television.
For each colour, the box contains three photographs of television screens dominated by that colour, shot by watching for the colours in free-to-air programs. There is also one sheet printed with each colour and a sheet with a fragment of poetry referring to the colour, found by reading in a similar way through books I have kept.
Finally, the box contains a booklet in which each of the poems is reprinted, giving the context of the quoted fragments.
Box 44 x 30 x 8 cm
